Postpartum depression doesn’t always look like tears. Sometimes it looks like: • Constant productivity • Not being able to sit still • “I’m fine, I just need to stay busy.” Hormones drop. Sleep breaks. Cortisol rises. For some moms, the nervous system speeds up instead of shutting down.
