We recently teamed up with the Sageland Collaborative to work together on a stream restoration project. As part of the project, beavers were reintroduced to the area. Beaver reintroduction can be an important part of stream restoration with benefits that are well-documented by scientists. These environmental benefits include: - Creating habitat for both water- and land-based species, such as fish, birds and big game animals. - Creating natural fire breaks. - Slowing runoff, which increases water
